Winter Children’s Theatre Program

( Ages 5-17 years)

(Special After School Session)

Discover the magic of theater with Dandelion Creative Space's After School Theatre Program! Held at the V.R. Lee Community Building, right next to Penny Playground. This program invites students to explore their creativity and build confidence without any prior acting experience. Running Monday through Thursday from 4:30-6:30 pm, participants will have the opportunity to take on various roles, including non-speaking and off-stage positions, ensuring everyone finds their perfect fit. The program culminates in an exciting performance at McFiler's Chehalis Theater on December 12th.

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the world of theater! In this production, students will perform an original play (written just for this program) called “The Bigfoot Who Stole Christmas”, a parody of the classic “A Grinch Who Stole Christmas”!

The Importance of

Social Interaction…

With today’s “Zoom Culture” and the need for Hybrid classes in school, it is important that we as a community prioritize opportunities to socialize and connect with each other (with the proper precautions, of course). '

Social interaction is one of the most important factors for the health and development of everybody, from young children to the elderly. Positive social interactions have a wide range of both physical and mental benefits, including increased cognitive ability, good mental health, communication skills, independence and improved physical health.
