Summer Art Series
Dandelion Creative Space is happy to share that we have developed a program in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Lewis County to offer a series of fine art classes at the new United Learning Center for seven weeks this summer!!! All classes will be taught by WA certified Teachers. The art teachers have developed quality Visual Arts lessons that align both with Nation wide Social Emotional Learning and Visual Art Standards as well as the Boys and Girls Club’s ethos.
Thanks to the generous support of the James Augustus Smith Charitable Performing Arts Trust, BGC can offer these classes for only $40 per 3-day workshop!

Why is Art Important?
Well believe art is crucial to a child’s development! Through art, children can build resliency, nuture their curiosity, build a collaborative mind set, and so much more. Art is a way not only kids, but all ages can explore self-expression, hear diverse perspectives, and have communal experiences. Art is such a beautiful and powerful way to enagage the whole child , to unplug from devices and create things from their own ideas.
